You seem way more believable than your counterpart.

Yeah, that is why the SEC expanded for the first time in over a decade and took us first. That makes sense.

And you are wrong on your history BTW, I have talked to RC Slocum about it (he made the initial phone call to LSU for us to get the ball rolling) and the SEC was interested in talking to us once they heard Texas wanted the PAC and not the SEC if they didn't go Big 8 in 1994. I don't think we ever got an official offer, because very soon after the politicians got involved. But just like in 2010 the threat of the PAC owning Texas made the SEC at least opened the door a little for us.

You sure are butthurt and wrong about Aggie, and you sure like to crow about a program that hasn't been shite since it's SEC move and is currently in a massive losing streak to someone who has "never been much of a player." Must eat at you.

I know more about modern conference realignment than anyone on the SEC Rant. I could fricking write a dissertation on it, it's kinda sad.

The only one mixed up is you.

Keep talking about how conversations with LSU meant something. Key item being LSU...biggio story is more believable with Florida.

UT is who the SEC wanted, along with Arkansas during the first expansion. The SEC knew UT wasn't an option this go round because of conflict of interest on the TV deals, so that only left aTm as a Texas option. It certainly wasn't going to be TCU, even though they're the marquee football program in Texas. Its just too small of a school and private.

I know you didn't. Any conversation about any expansion was never thought about by the SEC's office.

You're confused

Well, I mean, if you ignore a major national championship in a major sport, then yea, I guess you would be correct. Or if you ignore the 4 SEC West Championships...they yea, you would be correct.

Thats cute. Its going to have to get really "massive" for your program to catch up in the all time series.

Whats even more cute is aTm trailing the overall series in both major sports by 50+ games.

I think A&M passed on SEC and went with the SWC.

Yes, thats it. Exactly it.

Here we are in a thread talking about aTm being passed over for years in favor of attempting to get Texas to join the SEC, yet I have an inferiority issue.

You would be wrong again(You're making this a habit)

The SEC wasn't formed until 1933

And it came from the southern conference with came from like the 40 school SIAA that A&M was a part of that left to join the SWC

the only objectively wrong thing in this whole thread was when you assumed Ann Richards was a male

True power states in the union usually have male governors. Sorry Texas isn't in that category I guess.

Wasn't started until 1921 and first played a football season in 1922(habit of yours continues)
