Because I like buttercream icing and cake, but cupcakes are easier to handle at games.
We never miss homecoming either and my wife makes 6 dozen for our tailgate.

Homecoming is one of the best days on campus, more parties and more events going on. You don't want to ruin everyones mood with a loss, then that would make everything kinda suck afterwards
