Considering the effect of having this one game hanging around out there for weeks, it is really unacceptable and unworthy by the Gators if they are trying to dodge it.

Starting DL and QB not playing allowed Foley and McElwain to hide behind Matthew.

Are you kidding me?

What a spin.

Is that not what UF was doing all week? UF was called irresponsible, reckless, impractical, etc. for waiting on updates and believing a game could be played in Gainesville this weekend.

I think the more likely scenario is that someone was looking for a guarantee of a Sunday or Monday game and UF couldn't provide that so the SEC moved ahead with the postponement

Weak.Very weak. Had a Sunday or Monday kickoff been set it certainly could have been delayed, cancelled, postponed if it was deemed Saturday/Sunday it was unsafe or hazardous to EMA types.

Lets be real here, our AD gave every opportunity to play this game. Every option, every scenario possible was thrown out there. fla officials would not budge, all week.....even though they knew that the game would in all likelihood not be able to be played in Gainesville on Saturday morning.

They waited until for all practical purposes the game could not be moved to another venue by force of the SEC commissioner.

You cant tell me that fla officials ever intended for this game to be played.

Lol, 15-20 mph winds with light to moderate rainfall.
It will be a beautiful day in Gainesville tomorrow!

"I urge you to work with the Athletic Department at UF to reconsider hosting this weekend's game in Gainesville,"

senators / politicians get involved and end up forcing UFs hand in making a decision too early
