It is confusing.

We should play on Sunday.

LSU said they would fly in and out same day. No problem.

Why Sunday? The weather will be great Saturday.

One team does not want to play this game. At least not this weekend.

That is why.

Apparently Florida knows storms
but
its going to be sunny Saturday
but
why does this game have to be moved
but
they have to maintain the safety of their players
but
Foley went to sleep the other night thinking the game would happen
but
its LSU's fault

This situation would seem to reflect very badly indeed on the Gators. If SC/UGA can play in Columbia, it would seem that UF/LSU could play in Gainesville.

Considering the effect of having this one game hanging around out there for weeks, it is really unacceptable and unworthy by the Gators if they are trying to dodge it.

I feel sure, that in all of the negotiations that this was already mentioned. Florida just flat out refused to move the game, either to a new venue, or another day/ time. The only move they wanted was 11/19, which they likely knew LSU would not be down for.

Because UForfeit is the only team in Florida with family affected by the storm. Every other team who's playing has family members who made it out unscathed.

That's basically all of the story. In the end Florida played their cards right, they knew they had a ton of injuries and didn't "want" to play this game if necessary.

Weak SEC commissioner + storm = scapegoat

At least the Rant is greatly improved by the lack of UF fan participation.

They are just lurking.

The storm has knocked out power and quite a bit of trees so far. Travel, power, etc won't be up and running in time.

this has been proven false. Florida never wanted to move the game. They told LSU that the game could be played at the original location and time up until yesterday. They refused any requests LSU made and never requested changing it to 11/19.

I think the more likely scenario is that someone was looking for a guarantee of a Sunday or Monday game and UF couldn't provide that so the SEC moved ahead with the postponement.

The game was never getting moved to Baton Rouge, everyone should have been content waiting it out to see what impact there would be and reevaluate today.

Because Florida has blatantly cheated and the SEC office and ESPN are lapping it up.
