Native Texan (noun) - individual devoid of culture with no known ancestry beyond Daniel Boone. Aka. Hardlegs.

Doesn't count, anything south of freeport is Mexico and west of Ft Worth is Indian territory in my book.

Yea, I'd try and whittle it down too, since 80% of the state looks like the surface of the moon.

I love traveling to Louisiana and the wife and I go every chance we get. The only really odd thing I saw was, in Gulfport, on the main four lane highway that runs underneath I-10, if you go the opposite way from the mall on the right there is an abandon gas station they have made in to some kind of doc in the box/hospital that advertises Xrays and chemotherapy among other things. It's it front of an old shopping center and it looks like one of the old Citgos.

You do know Gulfport isn't in Louisiana correct?

Can we get some kind of petition going to let Johnny Turnover play one more game?( Cause if he had one more chance I just know he could beat LSU.)

Great thread, btw.

Didn't read all this troll thread, just wanted to chime in. I like Louisiana alot, it has some beautiful scenery and I have a serious love affair with Nola (The Quarter to be precise). Alot of history packed into that place.

LSU fans though are a different story.

Texas experiences the most tornadoes in the United States, with an average of 139 per year. Tornadoes occur most often in North Texas and the Panhandle.a

The deadliest natural disaster in the U.S. was the Galveston hurricane of 1900, which killed between 8,000-12,000 people.c

The most popular snack foods in Texas are Frito pie (a bag of Fritos mixed with chili, onions, and cheese eaten straight from the bag), peanuts in Dr Pepper, beef jerky, jalapenos, and corn dogs.
