Who on the KCMO side cheers for KU or K-State. The people that love the Kansas teams live on the smaller side of the metro area, in the state of Kansas. Everytime I see KU shite on cars, it's cars with KANSAS Tags. When I see KU car flags in Missouri, it's cars from Kansas. Considering Kansas City is the biggest metro area closest to Lawrence,KS which is only 25min away makes it seem like KU owns KC, yeah they own KCK(pop 145,000). They don't own the KCMO(463,000) Metro side, the BIGGER side. They go there to shop, party and that's about it. There's not much to do on the Kansas side. And they sure as hell not going to their biggest city of WICHITA,KS to hang out. Yes all the Kansas people come over to Missouri for a good time.
Who in the hell do the people on the largest side of the metro cheer for, they don't give a frick about KU or K-State. Hell read the KC Star sports comments and it'll show there's A LOT of MIZZOU fans in the area.

What's funny about that is people in the STATE of KANSAS don't like the SEC or anything SOUTHERN. I only live 5miles from the state line, grew up in Kansas. You can tell it's an alter as soon as he took a shot at Mizzou. LOL@ Kansas joining the SEC when they hate and look down upon SOUTHERN people and culture. Yeah good one.

Kansas is weird, and they do love to look down on people from the south...because of course they must be retarded. I had so many future bets lined up for a potential Bama/KState title game this year. I cried when the aggies beat us. True story.

1. Your biggest market is already covered by Mizzou.
2. The rest of your state is a desolate wasteland.
3. You play second fiddle in football to team from that wasteland.

6. It's already been established that you are behind Mizzou, Rutgers, and Maryland in the game. You would have been gone back when Mizzou left if anyone wanted you, but they didn't. Your best plan going forward is to do whatever Big Daddy Bevo tells you to do, and pray he never leaves your pathetic conference. When he does, you better start hiring a bunch of Catholic priests and hope you can sneak into the new Big East and slot your football into the MAC.

Agreed.
Not hard to get a Mizzou fan riled up when you bring kU into the equation. Our rivalry is real and based on more than a couple of silly learning institutions. It's a state rivalry and more, based on 150+ years of conflict. No 2 states in America hate each other more.

Oh I don't disagree one bit. I realize that outside of Missouri and kansas it's largely unknown but that doesn't make it any less real. At least half of America thinks Kansas City is in kansas too

imho, the SEC, if and when expand again, prefers UNC(and maybe Duke/NCS), then either Okla, VT or UVa, FSU/Mia if UF would ever let them in, or an Dallas area school?

Missouri is a pathetic waste of an athletic program with no business in the SEC...and they are still infinitely better than anything to ever come out of the state of Kansas.

Well first of all just take a look at our basketball program, we have the longest current streak of consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. We are arguably the second or third most prestigious basketball program in the country. We have 3 National Championships (soon to be 4). We along with Kentucky would make the SEC the top basketball conference in the country. Anyways our basketball history speaks for itself but our Football team is no joke either.
