They borrowed the tarp to cover Ritter's fleet of Bentleys. Completely understandable.

Are tarps a thing for football teams? That's a serious question. I don't think I've ever seen a school put a tarp on for a football game.

Does anyone cover their football fields? Most SEC schools have very good drainage systems and unless it's an absolute downpour (like during the Missouri game the other night) the fields drain with just a little time.

Do you realize that they only lay tarp on the infield of baseball fields? Do you remember the manpower used and the size of the tarp roll when covering the infield? Do you have any idea how many of those tarp rolls it would take to cover an entire football field?...I'll bet you're starting to draw a conclusion.
