For one, LSU was a one loss team when we played, and should have won by at least 2 TD's

When you play Alabama a respectable game for the first time since JFF, get back with me. We finish within 5 points of Alabama and your team just gave up 700 yards to a team that barely scraped past Georgia. Have you seen your team's defense? You're a dumpster fire outside of Myles Garrett. Alabama will go in dry.

Calm down, bro, we had 1 bad game on D and still won. If your team keeps working at it they might be good also.

Just curious, Was Rhett calling the plays against LSU? Because you needed your kicker and some Les Miles magic to win that one.

Shut up Aubie. You'll get respect if you can win both of your next 2 games. Until then you're still a bottom feeder in the SEC W.

Auburn's defense looks good. Offense is an abortion against teams with a pulse.

I completely get that opinion from an outsider's perspective. But a few things of note:

1. against the best 2 teams we played Malzahn and his horrific playcalling was at the helm. Was fear of Myles Garrett v. TAMU made me think Garrett raped him with a 2 foot dildo at some point. All we threw were quick screens that TAMU nearly picked all game.
2. Against CU we were playing musical QB chairs in what was the worst gameplan ever assembled.

since Lashlee took over play calling we've been much more difficult to slow down and at least not as predictable. The main fixes AU has to have on O now are :

1. SW has to get better on the deep ball.
2. improve in the red zone (from a passing perspective)

Other than that our O looks fantastic. Leading the SEC in rushing, IIRC.

No. I mean really. Pretty much all I have read on forums and talking to Auburn fan friends, most of them really didn't or don't like Lashlee at O.C.

Why isn't auburn getting any respect?

thought Auburn fans hated Lashlee

That was before we realized that when Gus "let" Rhett call plays before it was really just suggestions for Gus who had the final say and was meddling. After the LSU game Gus said he was handing over the reigns 100% to Rhett to act as an actual OC and the last two games have been the best we've looked on offense since the first half of 2014

Ok. Thanks for the response.

You have to love Auburn fans. The man leading their program by their own admission is terrible at what he was hired to be good at, but yet they love him now. If he can finish this thing 9-3 or 8-4 they will give him a raise and two year extension and this time next year they will be calling for his head and talking about Jay Jacobs being a moron.

They lost to good teams, but their wins haven't been overly impressive. No one came out of that LSU game looking worth a damn. Auburn will have some opportunities this month to get some respect, though. If Auburn can win, and look good while doing so, against Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Georgia, they will get that respect they so crave.
