Auburn looked good yesterday.

But I can't tell if LSU's loss to Auburn wasn't that bad, and maybe our defense holding Auburn without a touchdown was impressive; or if Auburn still sucks and LSU's loss to them was bad.

I have heard several xperts on sports shows this weekend that bragged about what AU is doing.

If the game was played again today now that Rhett Lashlee is calling plays instead of Gus then AU would win by 3 TD because we'd actually put it in the endzone after dragging yalls sorry asses down the field over and over again.

I thought Auburn fans hated Lashlee

Auburn's D is legit.

We can only wait to see if the Offense can keep them competitive with the elite of the West.

I love Auburn Football more than anything but this is why i dislike some of our fans.

Why start a thread asking for respect when we still look like crap on offence? Yeah, we had a good day against Moo State but we have crapped the bed both opportunities (Clemson and Texas A&M) we had to make a statement. No one cares if we beat moo state, we should every year!

2 losses to top 5 ranked teams, oh well. An average team loses both of those games a good team beats one of the 2 and a great team wins both. Guess what we are at best an average team in the SEC and an average team gets no respect.

We are in the SEC if we are not a great team we suck arse! Deal with it.

Because the only quality win is over a Less Smiles led LSU team.

Arkansas defense is putrid. Bama left two TD on the field because of poor ball security. If you beat OM you'll get respect from national writers.

This must be like your fight song, or in your creed or something. This is a constant refrain from LSU fans.

Far better chance than most want to believe for Iron Bowl to be for SEC West if Auburn gets a W vs Ole Miss.

I think Auburn is only getting better as the season progresses, honestly. I don't think they are as bad as some people are making them out to be.

That was before we realized that when Gus "let" Rhett call plays before it was really just suggestions for Gus who had the final say and was meddling. After the LSU game Gus said he was handing over the reigns 100% to Rhett to act as an actual OC and the last two games have been the best we've looked on offense since the first half of 2014

And this is why I hate our fans. Cause they have no sense of sarcasm and treat everything so serious.

Me too. I'm still not sold on the offensive explosion of the last couple of weeks because the foes have been so bad, but anyone who thinks Auburn hasn't grown into a quality football team is kidding themselves. They are going to be a tough out for even the best teams in the west.

As to why they are not getting national love, it is probably a hangover effect from last year when they were supposed to be really good but sucked. When they entered the season projected to be bad and started 1-2, the national folks simply wrote them off as being the team they were expected to be.

If they keep winning, it won't be long before the national media takes notice.

LSU was a one loss team when we played, and should have won by at least 2 TD's.

You didn't even score one TD. How can you claim that?
