It’s as believable as Vitello was throwing a bat at the auburn players. The bat was picked up at the Tennessee dugout after it bounced off the netting the players was leaning on. Those are facts. What’s also facts is if you watch the video of Vitello grabbing the bat, the bat went past him and he had to reach back for it against the dugout. That’s exactly what happened in the video clip. If the bat is tossed towards the auburn dugout instead at the Tennessee dugout then Vitello don’t have a bat to throw back. Pretty simple.

It’s a lot easier to say “my coach is a poor loser and got mad at the bat flip, couldn’t control himself, and is now making me defend his childishness on a message board because I like winning”

agswin prediction:

Within the next five years an SEC baseball coach will be making headlines on the front page (not the sports page) for some type of jail worthy incident. Get the popcorn ready

Hint: Who is the most tightly wound active coach in the league?

You mean the roman candle? Makes a lot of noise and is pretty to watch when it starts but flames out quickly?

It’s Tennessee. When they are good in anything they’re fng insufferable backwoods pieces of excrement.

They have so little success when they actually accomplish anything - no matter how unimportant- they can’t help themselves.

You clearly weren’t around here in 2014/2015 when Ole Miss had hugh freeze and Marshall Henderson. Insufferable despite not winning anything.

Ole miss just had a better football season than y’all have had in 23 years. We aren’t a tenth as insufferable as y’all over baseball lol

We won 10 games 15 years ago (still not great but not 23 years)

You are insufferable baseball fans when you are good. But you are all hiding this year

Wait hold up, Ole Miss has won their division and played in Atlanta for an SEC championship three times in the last 23 years like Tennessee has? Interesting

Tennessee should act like they've been there before. Oh wait, they haven't.

Best Starts in SEC Baseball History:

2022 Tennessee Vols
1951 Tennessee Vols

So...UT has been there...but it has been about 70 years.
