I don't think any of LSU's problems in the trenches are Moffitt's problem.

On the Oline, I think it is technique, specifically in pass-pro. I don't think he is the worst out there, but there are better.

On the Dline, I think we are fine. The reason we were pushed around by State, was players being out. We have 6ish guys that would normally rotate in. LaCouture, Lawrence, Herron, Logan at DE, Gilmore and Alexander at NT. Herron and Lawrence were out to start. Alexander got hurt for the game first or second series. 3rd string true FR got kicked out for targeting. So yeah depth. Anyone except maybe Bama would be struggling with that many out.

Moffitt has been at LSU since 2000. I don't think anyone questioned the strength of his line when we were pretty good. It's not like he suddenly forgot how to run his s&c program.

But Les suddenly forgot how to be a championship coach? People lose their edge all the time. LSU has definitely lost their edge in S&C.

Ha ha yea, yall shut down Fitz this year and Dak his jr year ... they ate yall up while bama slammed the door on both of them. The only mobile QB yall shut down was Lamar Jackson which was impressive but lets not act like yall eat spread offenses up.

You need to expand. LSU has historically(2000-) put the brakes on mobile QBs. They shut down Oregon back in the day when they were all over the place. They shut down Johnny Manziel everytime they played ATM. Ole Miss with Chad Kelly. There are many more examples I just cant think of them right now. Someone with a better memory should be along to help out.

Alabama? C'mon man. Mobile QBs are literally the only thing Alabama has ever had a problem with. So much so that Satan figured he should join the party, hence, Blake Sims, Jalen Hurts. Hell, even sad arse Jordan Jefferson had a decent game against Alabama when Mettenburger, who was an NFL starting QB with two #1 NFL starting WRs and an #1 NFL starting RB couldnt do diddly poo against Alabama.

Les never developed a QB.
