Why is Gus Malzahn hated among so many Arkansas Razorback fans?

What has the guy done wrong to be hated by so many? I have never really gotten a straight answer on this since my time being here, and also observing Hogville during a long time of bannage.
He was a high-school wizard in the state of Arkansas. The guy took over as head coach at Springdale high-school in 2001, and then proceeded to take said school to state championships in 2 of his last 4 years (winning one in 2005). He had a hand in bringing big-time recruits Mitch Mustain and Damien Williams to Arkansas when he got the offensive coordinator and wide receivers job there. Also, during his time at Arkansas with that position(s), he helped the team go 10-4 (7-1).
He is a genuinely good guy and has worked his arse off to be where he is now. He has had success at every stop (Arkansas, Tulsa, Auburn, Arkansas State), and is an offensive genius that could do well at any other place.
What gives?

The reasons were posted not all that long ago but I don't recall what they were off the top of my head

It's pretty much just because he has been coaching at Auburn against us (since his OC days). I think he's a great coach. I would say that's a big reason among AR fans. Also quite a few people might not like him from his Shiloh days. They are a pretty hated school around here. He pretty much started that dynasty.

Recruited players in hs. Cult like church. I have disliked him since hs coaching days.

It seems many just hate the other Arkansans who are Gus supporters and they project that hate onto Gus.

This is ESPECIALLY true if you win and people don't think you deserve it. That's the circumstance with our gimmicky/high school coach gone big time. He's challenging the system and beating it; people in the system hate that.
