Because he’s not even the best coach in his state.

Looking at the history of the programs, you are incorrect. What he's done at Auburn is nothing short of miraculous.

Kentucky is a top 3 coaching job in the country. It demands a coach that has proven he can get it done relatively consistently when it matters in March.

He’d rather get fired and take the buyout. Auburn termination clauses are historically lucrative.

And how do you think he's going to get fired?

Sure but the playing field has been roughly even from the day Oats was hired

Bruce has a lifetime contract, they are going to name the court after him. Does that not prove his value in the eyes of AU?

Bruce is invaluable to Auburn. Don't let one of these morons tell you otherwise.

There are many fans willing to support Steven as HC in waiting it if that means Bruce stays put for another 5-6 yrs. Bruce's value is immeasurable to Auburn Athletics as a whole, not just AU basketball.

Pearl has been exposed as nothing but a used car salesman.

Uh huh.

He took one of the historically worst basketball programs in the SEC, got them to a final four, won multiple conference championships and generally is ranked every year.

The only thing being exposed is your head way up inside your own rectum.

It has to be asked. Is Ky so low that Pearl comes into the picture?

I never thought I would see the day that the loss to Yale made me happy.

But just a few weeks later - that is true.

Kentucky cannot handle the “politics” of hiring a coach who just lost to a big underdog in game 1.

If Bruce made another final 4 run this year - he would be the leading candidate there.

What if they lost because Bruce was too busy backdoor negotiating with Mitch Barnhart
