Well, to be fair, Alabama fans are contradicting themselves also from last year's stance. Although last year's angst had more to do with Alabama's resume than the fact that they didn't win their conference. Much like this year.

You mean the Bama team that had just played the only team in College Football that could match them physically and had just come off of an emotional win perhaps making them think they could beat anyone. It was a reported bad week of practice too, so you just knew that they let the LSU game get to them.

Be that as it may, its still no excuse. His point is that you lost, just as UF did. It doesn't matter who played who the week before.

The tie break is to send someone to the SECCG. Officially Florida and Georgia are east co-champion. I don't make the rules. That might be stupid, but it is what it is.
And Florida isn't going to jump anyone on a bye week, but teams drop. The SECCG loser will have two loses and will drop on the polls. If Helen beats little Nicky, he will have to go to Florida early January I don't care how he feels about it. Just like we have no chance to go to the NCG.
