I thought LSU fans swore to the logic that you have to win your conference, or at least your division, anyway to play for it all? Or does the LSU stance change from year to year based on the best way to relieve their butthurt over Alabama?

There was a long Saban thread yesterday. You sound just like it.

Auburn back when they were winning. Looks like we have a new little sister.

How do you mean?

And I'm willing to bet whatever Saban thread you're talking about was started by an obsessed LSU fan... amirite?

Do we need to ship a crapload of the teevees into Loosiana so y'all can watch games you aren't playing in?

Florida doesn't look like a better team than either UGA or Bama. They'll end up probably going to a better bowl than one of those teams. I'm sure you'll be outraged by the inequity at that point. I await your posts wailing for justice at that time.

Yes, I know how the BCS works. I know that both SEC championship teams are BCS ranked higher than Florida. The point is that if you look at their records and don't associate any name to the record, anyone being objective would conclude that Florida deserves to be higher. I know that the SEC schedule is the closest thing we have to a playoff right now and do agree that the winner of the SEC has earned the right to represent the SEC in future play. What I don't understand is why last year the chant was "two best teams!" and this year the chant is "SEC champs!"...makes my butthurt.

Doesn't the winner of SECCG go to NCG? Since UGA and BAMA have yet to play that game, it is impossible to know which team will be in NCG.

Most everyone believes that while Florida has the best resume, they are not one of the "two best teams!" in the country. That is why they are not in the top 2 in the AP, Coaches, or Harris Poll. Has nothing to do with them not being conference champion.

So let me get this straight. Last year the LSU fans on this site thought it a travesty to play Bama who didn't win their division. And now, they think it is travesty that the team who didn't win their division isn't playing for the championship.

Even if they were higher now they would not be after the SECCG. A 1 loss SEC Champ will probably always trump a 1 loss division loser.

Florida did lose to Georgia right? And Florida almost lost to ULL right?

Um . . . Bama beats Georgia. Georgia beat Florida.

Makes sense to me.

It's called "respect" for Alabama and the Tradition Alabama has.

Lets see. Alabama = 11-1 beats Georgia 11-1 and becomes 12-1 and wins the SEC. A Florida Fan thinks they should get in over the SEC winner?

And lets say Georgia wins. A Florida fan expects to get in over the team that beat them and that has a better record? I think you have been wearing those jorts a little too tight.
