Now if it was the Sugar Bowl or any other non playoff bowl game I would agree that's it's just a meaningless exhibition game.

Bama might rest their starters for this game. This year's Iron Bowl means nothing in the grand scheme of things.
However, Auburn offense is pretty bad when they can't run the ball at will, which they won't against Bama. I could see Bama's D getting a couple of defensive TD against the barn and Bama winning 31-3.

After 40+ years of watching this game 2 things are almost always true (I say almost again).
1) Its closer than expected
2) The better team wins
There are very few exceptions. 1972 and 2013 come to mind. I went to both game and each was won on fluke plays.
