I'll be pretty surprised if they go 11-2 or better this season.

It would mean winning the games we'll be favored in (Rice, SMU, Arkie, Ole Miss, MSU, Mizzu and ULM) then winning just one of LSU, Bama and Auburn plus the bowl game.

Not hard to imagine at all IMO.

Disagree. Even if A&M doesn't match the 11-2 record of 2012, we are clearly a better team than we've been the last 2 years.

By beating a clearly mediocre South Carolina team and La fricking Mar? Give me a break.

Better surrounding cast? Or maybe Kenny Hill is really good and will end up proving that this season. idk

They actually had a somewhat okay defense. They had one of the worst in the country last season.

A&M went 11-2 with Johnny in 2012. I'll be pretty surprised if they go 11-2 or better this season.

I have no idea why people seem to think this year's team is better b/c of the offense of Hill.

Uhh earth to tRant, the Aggie D is light years ahead of where they were last year.

They look better b/c they are getting stops which takes tons of pressure off the offense.

So clear that only in hindsight is it noticed

Two weeks ago USC was a legit top-10 team who was gonna beat us by 3+ scores.

We wont play a "real" defense until Bama, unless we torch them in which case they will also be deemed overrated.

The most important thing is that we make sure not to give aggy ANY credit whatsoever.

Then they were blown out and struggled with East Carolina at home.

Georgia puts a nail in their coffin three weeks into the season next week.

That Georgia sucks. Which wouldn't be that much of a surprise.

And when we beat Ole Miss, there will be reasons why they were overrated. Same for MSU. God forbid we beat Bama or Auburn, cause that will require some real distortion of reality.

And oh, if Georgia loses to USC.

I can already tell you those two teams are overrated. Don't believe everything fans say about their own team.

But they don't right now? They only suck when the other option is that a&m actually might have a decent team?
