They're desperately trying to hold on to something, now that Manziel is gone.
Man, A&M really does suck, give Manziel to most other SEC teams (LSU, Bama, UGA, UF, USCe, UGA, Auburn) and you have at least 1 NC and another CG appearance.

Mizzou has had ONE good season in the SEC and most likely will never have to deal with Bama yearly, so I'll forgive you guys for being mad that LSU fans don't kiss their arse because of SEC pride. Excuse us for not supporting a team that we have to play yearly in a game that decides which of us play for the SEC title and maybe even the NC, a team that is our biggest recruiting rival and who has been able to take our own 4/5 star talents away. How foolish of us.

SEC alone is getting us recruits that we wouldn't have before. If that reputation is tarnished an becomes lessened we lose.

Exactly. This is exactly why I and most Ags are pulling for Bama. If it was LSU playing tonight, I would be pulling for LSU.
Jesus H... not that hard to understand why Ags are pulling for Bama. You have just the opposite reason so you are pulling for anyone playing Bama.
All about recruiting and what is best for your team. Ags aren't dickriding Bama. Best for Ags if SEC team beats OU.
Not that freaking difficult a concept.

You are correct. The SEC reputation is a big deal for the lesser schools in the conference. Sure you won the SECEast, but don't get used to it. For schools like LSU and Bama who compete for top 200 recruits, we need each other to lose.

I was mostly responding to Mizzou fans who seemingly had a problem with LSU fans not having SEC pride and rooting against SEC teams because apparently the benefits of playing in the SEC means that we should all stick together and root for each other since 1 team looking strong means all teams look strong but thanks for that reply.

I don't have a problem with you not rooting for Bama. But rooting against them just screams butthurt. And yes, that's an overused phrase on this site. But it's perfectly applicable here.

I'll pull for every SEC team in the bowl season that doesn't regularly come into La. and pull 5 star recruits away from LSU. The only school that does that is Bama.
