I know an Auburn side walker who is an acquaintance of mine through a friend and he is a cop for a small town police department north of Tuscaloosa. When I last saw him at my friend's wedding he was openly bragging about profiling people on: race, appearance (haircut, type of clothes,) and team affiliation. This same guy was at my friend's house during a cookout and started throwing pennies in the fire saying, "this is what we do at my Civil War reenactments to wish for the death of Lincoln." We had a get together for MNF back in 08 over at another friend's apartment who had an Obama magnet on his fridge. This Auburn fan decided to take the magnet throw, it in the trash and spit on it. To paint the picture for y'all it was the first time the Auburn fan had ever met my friend. To look at his vehicle you would never be able to tell he was an Auburn fan because he has Alabama hate stickers covering his back window with maybe one AU emblem on his entire vehicle. Crazy enough for you?

Sounds like a hell of a guy, except he should have dropped trou and shite on the Obama magnet

This is directed to anyone. Why did the woman jump on the guy at the game? Saw video, but didn't hear reason.

Drunk and they were trash talking I believe.
If you are looking for a rational reason, you won't find one.

I read this in Tommy Wiseau's voice

I read it in a Morgan Freeman voice. Really changes the whole tone of the story. Worth checking out.

What does any of that have to do with doing something because of his fandom?
Well he was asking about why Auburn fans aren't "crazy" like Alabama fans? I just showed an example of a crazy Auburn fan. Or did you not see the part about him profiling toward team affiliation?
The fact of the matter is it doesn't matter what your affiliation is you've got some screwballs among you. But that fact has been beaten into the ground. I honestly find it quiet funny that Alabama fans are all lumped together as crazy killing mofos because of a few actions of others. Then the people that bring those fans up almost always have a "Bama friend." Honestly that just shows how stupid they are because according to them that "Bama friend" could snap at anytime and just go on a killing spree. And what type of intelligent person wants to be friends with a possible murderer.

It probably is generational to a degree because you never heard of these incidents until about the last 15 years or when the internet and cell phone technology exploded onto the scene. You just never heard about the incidents 20, 30, and 40 years agof and when Alabama fans aren't seeing fans any different at home games than anywhere else it's hard to admit to something you don't experience on a day to day basis or on football weekends. Younger Alabama fans have grown up with it constantly in the news and thrown in their face so it's more likely they will concede the point about these types of fans.

Bama friends all tend to admit that they have the craziest fans and just embrace it while laughing at it.
But you aren't a douche to your friends and group them with the demographic of crazies? Because that is what I'm annoyed of. You can't even have a decent convo about sports around here anymore if you are a Bama poster because someone chimes in mindlessly a out Bama fans.

I like how this has become some sort of insult, as if the people that hang here every single day, racking up thousands or tens of thousands of posts fighting with each other, aren't living lives that revolve around football.

Cool lets hear a story. Because I wish mine wasn't made up. When I first met the guy he was a nice guy we were friends We'd joke around about team affiliation and have a good time. Then I saw his ride, and he started saying some really weird shite. That's when he became an acquaintance. Not a big fan of intolerant people.

Yes, he also said:

You mean like your completely unverifiable story about an "auburn friend"?
This thread isn't talking about random "bama friends". It's talking about documented crazies.

This hasn't become an insult. If your life is so affected by the results of a football game that you take another's life, it is an insult.
