I think it's pathetic that you guys make fun of people on a message board in your spare time. I guess I just don't get off on that type of thing.

Why was he doing them then?

Auburn fan desecrating Coach Bryant's grave. Let me guess....you never heard about it.

You know good and well that if there was 1/100th of this kind of stuff available about Auburn/LSU/UT fans, y'all would have it plastered all over the interwebs.

1. stop sucking up to auburn fans, its pathetic 2. when you have 75% of the overall population in your fanbase, you also get 75% of the crazies 3. go frick yourself

Auburn's lack of sucess
It's really that simple.
If the histories were reversed, all the redneck trash would follow Auburn.
Alabama (and the south) is just a trashy region, and Alabama draws all those sort of people in that might otherwise have chosen a different tshirt to wear.

quote:For some reason, Bama draws more stupid fans. I think its mainly because alot have no moral standards and they act dumb. Other stupid people see this and want to act that way and are drawn to that crowd. So it keeps adding more and more of that type of fans.
We all know Bama fans have the most trash in their fan base. Why haven't I heard of any Auburn fan acting like an Updyke/T-bag dude/crazymilflady?
Auburn and Bama are in the same state, why is it bama that always has the nut jobs?
Kids grow up seeing their crazy uncles yelling "Roll Tide" and acting dumb until it grows on them and they start doing the same thing. Auburn fans usually don't go all out acting crazy constanly, so those type of fans think they are boring and go to the bama fans.
There's not nearly enough realist (about how good or bad they really are) or fans who will tell others they are acting stupid or being unrealistic, to keep the other Bama fans in line. Other schools have enough fans who will make fun of and look down on crazy fans and tell them they are sunshine pumping their team and players too much.

OSU had some creepy pedo stalking their recruits. It was so bad some kid decommitted from OSU. A ND fan punched out their freaking quarterback in a bar.

75% of the overall population in the USA or in Alabama
Because LSU has probably around 90% of the overall population in Louisiana.

lol yeah great comparison to the context of which I was referring to. You got me.

All these stories from all these fan bases are anecdotal.

Alabama is unique. There is no other combination of a traditional power located in an impoverished state with no competing sports interests in the state. Even the surround pro sports teams (Braves/Falcons/Hawks, Saints/Pelicans, Titans, Jaguars) are not long established names like the Cowboys or Yankees, whose fans have known long periods of success. There is simply no other situation like this.
Having suffered through all the years after Stallings and before Saban, I can say with certainty that I would rather have our success and the crazies who come along with it, rather than a smaller group of us who are hardcore and asking God what sin we had committed to deserve Mike Dubose.
