I agree.

Let's get the Las Vegas bowl or the Holiday Bowl for a PAC12 SEC matchup soon.

It would more likely be the Alamo bowl. UNLV holds like 30k.

Slive and the ADs need to man up and make it happen.

Where would it be located? I always thought the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio would be a great PAC 12/SEC site. Other than that, maybe a destination that is cheap to fly to on short notice during the holiday season. Houston would be fine with me. NOLA would be cool too. Vegas?

Besides, Las Vegas in December favors ground and pound teams with 50 mph wind gusts. LSU would be loving it. Jennings passes might be accurate.

The Sun in El Paso would be good. I know the PAC 12 has had a long time tie-in there, and in the 80's MSU, Bama(a few times), Tennessee, and UGA all played in the Sun.

Aren't there bowls that can pick at large now? I thought it was more likely now with the set up.

Most bowls have tie ins and the lower ones have backup tie ins if the first don't have enough bowl eligible teams.

not a destination. That's the problem. I would never travel to El Paso for a bowl game.

It's a shitty site. It's expensive to get to El Paso and usually cold and windy.

40k, but it's not a bad trip, and it would likely be a SEC 7-8 vs Pac 12 6-7. I think the LVBowl like having the MWC team, though.

ETA: if the new UNLV stadium gets going in the next decade or so it could be a premier bowl.

I guess. California wasn't even a state when USC was established so I guess it's ok to call them USCjr

El Paso sucks. I could go for Las Vegas. However, the Alamo Bowl would be the best. San Diego would be a good one too.
