1969 is the last time Auburn beat Bama by more than 10 points. Bama has won by more than 10 a whopping 15 times since then, including 3 out of the last 6 years. The last time Bama trailed by more than 10 to Auburn was when they were down 14-0 in 2009, a game they came back to win.

21-0 in the first quarter in 2005. Bama scored under a minute to play to give them a moral victory. TT let off the gas at halftime.

And if he hadn't you would have exactly ONE "blowout" win over Bama in the last 40+ years. One.

Because comebacks built on multiple illegal pick plays are not memorable. Right?

About as memorable as comebacks enabled by illegal linemen downfield.

See how easy it is?

Shouldn't you be posting some irrelevant article from 1923 talking about our cheating ways?

you have a losing record against Auburn both pre Bear Bryant

Those games before 1908 were so much like the ones of today. Had the series not been discontinued after the 1907 season, I think we can all assume that Alabama would have taken a lead in the series sometime within the 20s and would have extended it through the 30s and 40s. Alabama, along with Tennessee, were the two best teams in the South during that time while Auburn was dog shite.

Does it make you mad that Bama has won more NCs since 2009 than Auburn has won in the history of its program? You realize that Auburn lost the NC streak for the state of Alabama and the SEC last year right?

Bama was down 17-0 in 1998 and came back and won.

No, because it really just illustrates the flaws in the system college football uses to determine a national championship. An undefeated team can get left out like Auburn did in 2004 and a team that doesn't even win their own division can get in like bammer did in 2011

Why use the last 12 years? Why not the entire series record?

Oh, and 3>1 in that same time span but I forgot that's how auburn defines itself...by how they do against big brother.

Carry on!

The '85 Iron Bowl was probably the greatest game and the greatest comeback of the series. Both teams came into the game with two losses (Auburn was 8-2, Alabama was 7-2-1) and both teams played a game for the ages. Bo Jackson was vintage Bo while Mike Shula and Gene Jelks were the stars for Alabama on offense. Frank Broyles, the color commentator for the game, called it the greatest fourth quarter he had ever witnessed.

Auburn scored with less than a minute left to put the Tigers up 23-22. Shula led Alabama down the field on a clutch drive, with no time outs, and put Alabama in position to win with a field goal. With no time left on the clock, Van Tiffin buried a 52-yard field goal to give Alabama the 25-23 victory.
