This is false. The SEC schedule changed and so LSU ended that series which nobody ever cared about. It never was a big deal to LSU fans. Were you guys begging LSU to be their rival back then too? It sure does sound like it.

Since 2012, only three athletic programs have at least 15 conference titles. Florida, Arkansas, and Texas A&M.
If you expand that list to those with over 10 conference titles in a 14-team SEC, that number increases to 5. (Georgia and Alabama)
