So, did he not run the ball anymore on that drive?

Maybe he doesn't get the 84 yards if LSU didn't do something to get penalized?

3 and out after that actually.

Stats say otherwise
They do?

LF has more YPC and more attempts. That is an abnormality.

A lot of the publicity is because LF was ranked #1 by ESPN. It is well deserved as he is a stud, but ESPN wants to toot their own horn a bit as well.

Also, LF was THE name on everyone's list to be the huge star this season, while Chubb did it last year and people already know how good he is.

Last year in the last few games it was all about Elliott, and now he is kind of forgotten even if he's having a great year because it's all about the new shiny toy. How often do fans clamor for "freshman XX" over an established guy?

A. He could have put up atleast 320 against auburn if he played the 4th. B. He hit Syracuse for 244 with an 84 yard run called back. Analysis: He could have potentially bypassed Chubbs 599 yards against inferior opponents in only two games.

Yes, and Chubb isn't getting the same amount of touches but he is averaging roughly the same as LF on a per touch basis.

Bro, penalty yards don't count.

Yes, he is so far ahead it's rediculous.

LF has 1 less game.

I know. I'm saying Chubb has similar stats despite averaging 8 fewer carries per game.

That's why I think Chubb is slightly better at this point

Chubb had 131 yards on 15 carries against Southern University. 49 of those yards came on one carry.....It's not a horrible performance in any way but FCS runningbacks can put up 131 yards on Southern.

LF is still better, will get more attention, will attain better stats this year, and will be drafted higher. but you keep fighting the good fight. chubb had better stats his freshman year. by the end of 2015, no one will care

Bro, that 244 was his legit #. Take away the penalties and Fournette goes for 325yds.

Stop trolling already.

What does the number of carries per game matter if LF has more YPA and more attempts?

There is nothing to say Chubb is better at this point outside of hating LSU.

Did you watch the game? Chubb was getting hit in the backfield just about every play. We came out in the second half and he reeled off carries of 10,11,14 and 49 on one drive.

The line wasn't really inspired in the first half and played like shite. Chubb could have easily got 200 plus yards but they pulled him after this drive.
