Why does Atlanta always get the SECCG?

It's been that way since 1994 and will be through 2027. It's certainly an unfair advantage for UGA when they make the game. And, frankly, it's boring for it to be in the same locale every year.

Why not rotate it annually among Atlanta, New Orleans and Nashville? Or maybe Houston as well? Spread the wealth among other cities in the SEC footprint. And give some fans other than UGA fans the chance for an advantage in the game.

I get that Atlanta is somewhat of a central location in the SEC, but not for fans from aTm, Arkansas and Missouri -- and soon, Texas and Oklahoma. After those 2 schools join, Dallas should also be considered for the SECCG on a rotational basis.

The very first two SECCGs were played at Legion Field in Birmingham.

How well did that work out for them in 2011, 2012, 2018, and this past year?

Hell no to Houston!

This has been hashed on Rant a number of times. Why do you keep posting this shite? It is now Atlanta and will stay Atlanta just as Birmingham will stay the office of SEC. No way will either ever go to Texas. Better that Texas schools be kicked out of the SEC first.

Because Otherwise the Georgia dome would never see a championship game.

I'm cool where it's at, but if it moves to different locations, Texas should never be open for discussion.

The answer is to beat them and go yourself, you’ve done it twice.

That's pretty lame. We were in the heart of the Big 8/ 12 and it was a natural location. Nobody whined about it until the Texas schools joined.

Considering two of the three are now larger than Birmingham, not to mention much safer places, that might be something to discuss.

We would be perfectly fine without you if you simply want go back to the big 12 or where ever you came from and take 8&4feit with you.

OK, I'll take the bait, but only because I love 2019 so much.

B/c it's the CFB capital of the world. w/no more than a dozen major schools (ACC and SEC) being a 6 hour drive ot less by car and if you wanna add the NC and VA schools and UK that extrapolates out to 19 schools w/in an 8 hour drive.

Need I say more?

it should be at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock

excellent venue and a really safe city for tourists

highlight attractions would be the railed in box seats where Hillary used to sit and read commie books while the game was going on, telegraphing to the entire state that she wished they were all dead

It should rotate to NOLA, Tampa, Kansas City. True southern cities with warm weather and NFL stadiums. Atlanta is a yankee city these days

Quit your sniveling, I have no problem where it's located in the sec. That was a response about Kansas City hosting in another conference, we're here now so deal with it.

I don't think these teams will have to worry about where the SECCG game is anytime in the near future.

Are you also demanding a parking space in your yard for the Lambo you're never going to get?

That's a pretty good bet since it got imploded in 2017 but there has been a NC and Super Bowl played at MCB in Atlanta

Here is how Texas works:
1. Give us a rotation to host the game.
2. Rotate it every other year.
3. Give us the HQ
4. We are boosting ratings more than several schools. Actually, these other 3 schools are also carrying the league. We as a tier should get more $$.
5. Signs side $$$ deal if league doesn’t agree.
6. Give us all the Championship games
7. Flirts with B10/P12
