define "worship" cuz most bama fans I know worship FB, or the University. the word fan is short for fanatic so I guess there are a lot of fanatics regarding sports. But worship is something one does to a deity.

THIS question proves the fact that you have never had a coach the caliber of either. You wouldn't know and I wouldn't explain it to you since you hear what you want. Let me give you some coaches that you could ask the same of their fans about. We won championships dude. Bunches of them, tons of them with these guys.

John McKay
Go around these schools and fans and you will see streets, building, statues, murals, etc of these guys. Just like claiming pre-poll Rose Bowl national championships, this goes WAY further than Alabama. Way further but again, I know you don't want to hear that so I won't waste time on you.

I love the University of Alabama.
The coaches you mentioned are legends of game...widely considered to be the best in the business and built dynasties. It's not like anyone is going nuts over Dubose.
