It's not love. It's more of a mutual respect.
We respect Alabama's football program.
We respect Kentucky's basketball program.
We respect Vanderbilt's academics.
We respect LSU's baseball program.
Etc.
With the exception of basketball, we think we are comparable. It's our expectation to be good at all we do.

Based on all of the crappy LSU threads on tSECR throughout the season, I would say that Bama is probably more of a 'big brother' figure to LSU folks. We are in your minds constantly, you hound us to provide you with validation, you beg us to be your rival, and you run tattling to the FBI/Congress/etc.when you feel that the refs have done you wrong in our games. Plus, we historically own your arse.
Yes, LSU is the classic little brother to Bama.

Were you not here for the Great Aggy/Gump bromances of 2012/2013? They sucked each other off for the rest of 2012 after their game, and for most of 2013 until it was realized A&M was trash.
