Not everyone is on aggy 3 year timeline. Some of us have been able to enjoy football before that and didn't have to wipe the slate clean like aggy.
And I like Sumlin. I think he's a cool arse dude. Like Cal, he's a players coach and I dig some players coaches.

Yes because I think a DC is only as good as his talent and LSU will have more talent with Steele and O recruiting. Chief is a more renowned DC but I think the Steele/O combo will inflate Steele's worth. Which is fine with me as long as the D plays well.

I believe I started it when I claimed that the 2013 Fightin' Texas A&M Aggies most hyped up team of all-time ended up in the same bowl as the 2008 Post-Natty LSU Tigers.

During the 2007 offseason, LSU lost their Defensive Coordinator and starting Quarterback.
