Some of you are overly impressed with your self importance and overpriced education. I did not attend LSU, but my wife did. I have attended LSU events since I was a young kid. I hope one day my children will attend LSU or another quality institute. Some of you make it sound as if because you have a degree from said university, it makes you a better person. I beg to differ just from your attitude on this thread.

It's really strange how we've convinced the young'uns that you're doomed in the world without a 100K degree.
Hell it was not that long ago a lot of self made people never went to college yet they still managed to start businesses, invent products, innovate and develop new technologies all because they were do'ers and not watchers, meanwhile I'll continue to tell my daughter you need to get a degree and your mother and I will help pay for it.

Biggest hoard of sidewalk, T shirt wearing, bandwagon fans are in KCMO area and they're Jayturd fans. Now that it's BB season they're all out wearing the ugliest/cartoonish gear made. They all strut around for 3 months or so then BB season is over and the gear goes back in the closet except for their underoos which Jayturd fans still wear while eating their Fruit Loops each morning.

Yessir, my parents encouraged me to go to school. It just wasn't in the cards for me. I've always had a good job and made good money. I've had spend a good deal of time away from home but I've provided my family with as good a life as could be provided with any degree available. With that said, I will encourage my children to pursue a degree in something that they enjoy(hopefully something that will pay their bills )and lead a happy, fulfilling life. to sidewalk fans. We probably keep the doors open
