Spring football brings the hilarity of the Gump Run. Spring football rocks.

I know Spurrier doesn't care that much, since he didn't care much about football in October and November.

I thought they did it for the A game.

Are there two versions?

Is the official Running of the Gumps part of fall practice and some sort of fan day?

Practice more important to me than spring game *but* with the turnover at the HC position for us this year and a freshman QB that we hope to see big things out of, this is probably one of the more memorable scrimmages in the last few years. For programs that haven't had a lot of change from the previous year, I can see where it could be less entertaining.

I don't care much about it. I honestly wouldn't mind if spring practice was no-contact. Always makes me nervous someone is going to get hurt

Been to one spring game as a fan and won't make that mistake again unless they start serving alcohol and
have some type of bikini contest at halftime.

As a player I absolutely detested spring practice.

Do you complain when your girlfriend decides to give you an unexpected blowjob too?

It is weird to see people pumped up about about a couple weeks of practice, then go sit in a half empty stadium on a hot day to watch a scrimmage.

The current hoopla around spring games is thanks to Bama.

However, I love spring games.

I get to be back on campus in the spring when the azaleas and flowers are blooming and the weather is great.

There is no stressing about the game

I dont feel the need to stay in the stadium the entire game.

I get to hang around town again, but its not as packed as in the fall

Spring football is the time we all come together to celebrate the wonders of the nurturing Mother Goddess and all of her green glory via light beer and bodyslams. Are you some scummy atheist or something?

Considering UGA has a new HC for the first time in 15 plus yrs I'm more pumped than usual for spring practice and yes it's football. Being a braves fan I certainly don't have shite to look forward too this spring and summer.

Why do you get more excited about a practice than a spring game? People can't even watch team practices.
