Why do people care so much about spring football?

It is weird to see people pumped up about about a couple weeks of practice, then go sit in a half empty stadium on a hot day to watch a scrimmage.

Because they suck at baseball...

And because its the first chance to see your new players etc.

And because it means football is around the corner.

Well, it's the only football you get to see for a whole and is a small glimpse of what your team will look like.

For teams like Bama- who go into the season not knowing who the QB will be- it's good to see how they perform.

But as I said, it's just a small glimpse of what your team will look like. Bama usually has an underwhelming spring game with a ton of mistakes. Then fall gets here and they're back to looking like one of the best teams in the nation.

To look at players that have never played before, or a new system.

Why do you care? It's one Saturday out of the spring. It's not the end of the world.

Well usually have our A-Day game, then have the baseball game right after it. It makes for a fun Saturday.

I don't get it either. Spring is a nice time to get away from football and enjoy other sports. I don't really care what happens in spring practice.

The Spring Game is the one game every team wins.
