He'll regret it when he gets picked about 70-80 spots lower than he would have if he had gone to DBU. That was a million dollar mistake.

I don't hate the kid he wanted to be coached by Nick Saban. It worked in LSU's favor anyway he would not have started at LSU and when he played last year he got torched and was benched. If I'm not mistaken he is running second team right now at Bama.

Talent wins out. Doesn't matter if he went to LSU or Bama in that regard. Eric Berry didn't go to either LSU or Bama. Neither did Earl Thomas. There are countless others.

Bama - 1 first round DB (20th)

Bama - 2 first round DBs (7th & 17th)
2013 NFL Draft:
LSU - 1 first round DB (18th)
Bama - 1 first round DB (9th)
2014 NFL Draft:
LSU - zero first round DBs
Bama - 1 first round DB (21st)
2015 NFL Draft:
LSU - Zero first round DBs (first LSU DB taken at 42nd pick)

That's 8 NFL Drafts. Bama has 5 DBs taken in 1st round. LSU has 3 DBs taken in 1st round. He actually has a better chance of being a first rounder at Bama than LSU based on recent history.

a number of reasons:
1) time. I don't have endless amounts of it to research this and looking at only 1 round for 8 drafts is much easier than looking at 7 round sfor 8 drafts.
2) Bc you talked about how going to Bama costs him 70-80 picks in the draft. My point is that you can't beat being in the 1st round and Bama has more first rounders than LSU
3) b/c the only way the difference in going to Bama over LSU is going to cost him "millions" is if it is the difference between 1st round and 2nd or later.

I don't hate him, but he's kind of a douche. Kids that tell a staff that they're committing to them on live TV, then commit to another school are douchebags. It's a pretty bad reflection on his parents, too. Just shoot them straight, or say "I don't know what I'm going to do."
It's not like LSU is hurting for DBs, so not a big deal to lose him.
