Or perhaps the second string QB just didn't want to sit behind Jameis for a year and thought he'd be a surefire starter at Alabama last year.
So exactly what part of that makes Jimbo exceptional and Bama fans bashing him funny?

Absolutely nothing. Just stating what I assume is closer to the reality of the situation.

I didn't start the thread, don't jump all over me.

Didn't mean to jump all over you, I thought maybe you could explain the OP's joke to me.

Like every fanbase, we have our good and bad. I don't claim to know what half of the fanbase is trying to say most of the time.

He gets bashed for impeding a rape investigation.

I find it sad that LSU is going to fire Les for basically a coach that is no better in Jimbo. I just don't think a sane and reasonable program does that.

People forget that pre-Jameis Jimbo was widely mocked as being unable to seal the deal, much like Clemson was before this year. It wasn't that long ago that people really did consider Jimbo an also-ran who squandered great talent. The current round of Jimbo-worship seems rather incongruous in terms the public perception for most of his FSU career.

We're Alabama, we can win with anybody scrubs. When they put the uniform on the realize their potential and no longer play as scrubs.

You'd be a scrub too if you had to play for FSU.

How is this working out for us? For FSU? I can only lead a witness so far before average prosecutor objects.

There are thousands of Bama fans. Which ones are you referring to?

it's no longer jimbos 2nd string QB. He has zero affiliation with that coach now.

Saban is winning with Jimbos qb just like Les won with Sabans....that's what Bama fans told me.

We won with a converted running back last year. What is your point? That we're good at developing talent? I agree. What does that have to do with Jimbo?

This dude is a meathead. He challenged me to a fight at the Uptown bar he was working at a few years ago. Claims he played at LSU.

so good at it you took Jimbos backup qb who wanted to transfer cause he couldn't start and used him to win because of Jimbos tutelage....

This is quite comical.

so... why did the converted runningback who no one believed could even throw a meaningful pass beat him out?

seems it took of year of Saban's tutelage to make him shine.

anyways he transferred because FSU got Jameis Winston, a very rare talent. Nothing more.

The converted running back was a sr. Y'all really should think about things y'all say before running your mouths.

Like I said all our Les Miles years we heard he won with Sabans players......

Now you are being lead by Jimbo recruit with two years of development under him and then saying he is a frick up.
