1) how many of LSU's 10 underclass men are projected to be top 2 round picks?

DE Barkevious Mingo
DE Sam Montgomery
DT Bennie Logan
FS Eric Reid
MLB Kevin Minter

2) why are those projected 3rd round or later leaving?

OT Chris Faulk - the only questionable declaration. 1st round talent but coming off torn ACL, got bad advise from someone
Punter Brad Wing - hated going to class and can't improve draft stock
CB Tharold Simon - has two kids
TB Spencer Ware - would rather try the NFL than get 6-8 carries a game next season
TB Michael Ford - would rather try the NFL than get 4-5 carries a game next season

No, it isn't. 8 of the 10 are projected "2nd/3rd round" at worst by the advisory committee.

You are pretty delusional if the mass exodus doesn't concern you...even a little bit.

Any other team with this many leaving and Rantards would be blasting them for people jumping off the ship.

I hate the deflection of reality with some of our fans.

If you're talking 2013 only then that's one thing. Obviously it's not a good thing there.

But in terms of overall program health and direction you've got to be awfully delusional to think there is anything bad about putting a ton of players in the NFL.

It's a great thing. It would be super if 10 juniors would LSU every year.

The fans and coaches knew this was coming. Most of the 10 were expected to go pro before the season even started. The only one that wasn't was Minter and he had a monster year.

Yeah we thought the same thing about Bama this year. Didnt work out that way. You never know how it is going to turn out. WE expected about 6-8 to leave, some looks stupid to be frank but it happens every year. Rarely in the SEC, which you guys are now members, does a top guy stay past three years.

That is why we (Big six) almost always have to have top ten recruiting classes to stay competitive with each other. Yeldon was a Freshnman Aggies, the two Corners that ate your lunch this year-Freshman.

Have you looked at our recruiting class, do you know that the top recruit in America is down to LSU or Ole Miss?

We need a freaking OC, and a solid job and QB, and then we get to play for the NC. (If Bama doesnt cook the schedule again)

Yeah but LSU isn't on Bama's level which I think is the concern.

Apparently you missed the 3 threads started by LSU fans about A&M.
