Obviously.
Saban made the right decision returning to CFB. He’s now one of the most iconic coaches of all time due to his tenure at Alabama. There are plenty of coaches who won a Super Bowl who have been forgotten by casual football fans.

My opinion is Saban is a college coach, not an NFL coach. Some coaches can do both and some can only do one or the other. Saban wasn't a bad NFL coach but obviously he is a HOF college coach and will probably be remembered as one of the greatest college coaches of all time, maybe the greatest.

wrong. was down to between Culpeper and Brees, he chose poorly. to be fair brees's health wasn't great. I think often about how much longer he would have stayed in the pros if he had had Brees at the helm

What kind of record did Jimmy Johnson and Pete Carroll have after two seasons in the NFL?

Same reason he retired. He has always been upfront about Miami. His style does not go over with millionaires.
