Not hard at all, it's the truth.

Dale I can't have you bleeding all over this thread.

The gist is: Heisman winner > non-Heisman winner (now before you vomit all over yourself, there may be some exceptions. Jason wasn't the truth; JFF is).

But we can distinguish between Heisman winners. Of course such a discussion is inapposite when Darren is the focus of the conversation.

Faith, keep it.

And comparing dudes who played at different times at different positions is.

We're all about objectivity here in the Rant, folks!

Random trivia:

Did Darren ever rush for more TDs in a single season than JFF?

Another one? Sure.

Do Darren's career rushing yards add to an amount greater than Johnny's total yards this year?

fricking nailed it, Dale!

I don't know why the Heisman trust REFUSES to grant the award retroactively after seeing what the finalists do in the NFL.

Why don't they, Dale?

It's the single best indicator of which player is college football's most outstanding in any given year.

Not even gonna bother reading this thread because the outcome is going to be DaleDenton gnashing his teeth and a few other arky fans stomping around in their trailers in an anger fit over aggy.

Dale, how many actual circles did Darren run around defenses during his career?

None, he ran straight through them.

Best example was against Spurrier's team, over 320 yards all night long, when he need a break, Felix did the same. Spurrier's bitch arse voted him 5th on his ballot that year...

we are scared? I doubt it. the team we are actually playing beat the whorns by 40 or so points. Deloss Dodds didn't want to see another embarrassing loss.

In other words...a&m has everything to lose playing Texas, but nothing to gain.

And FWIW-

In 2000 Oklahoma beat Texas 63-14, and Texas later beat A&M 43-17.

In 2003 OU beat Texas 65-13, and Texas later beat A&M 46-15 in Kyle Field.

And in 2011 OU beats Texas 55-17, and Texas later beats TAMU in Kyle for the series finale.

So your logic...is flawed.

I love it when posters end a completely nonsensical post with, "Therefore your logic is flawed," or something to that effect.

You want to cite teams coached by RC Slocum, Dennis Franchione, and Mike Sherman--each of which predates the arrival of Johnny Manziel--to highlight the logical fallacy in another's argument?

Only here, folks.

This is where you cite your series record vs Texas beginning in some year in the 1970s or whenever it is that evens the lopsided total or gives you the edge...

No...I don't.

You would just think that an Aggie fan would remember those days. But I guess one year of being back on the map makes them infallible.

Maybe when Fran was at TAMU, you guys thought it was dumb to bring up anything from the RC era. And same for Sherman.

Fact is, the players on this team, JFF aside, remember the devastating loss to UT in 2011. The Aggies were supposed to win, right? So yes, I think that when the players on the current team experienced something to that effect, then it IS relevant.

Don't tell me the seniors didn't have a little extra juice against Arky after what had happened in previous seasons.

Yeah, this was their best season since the 80s, while they faced our worst team since the 50s, but let them have their moment in the sun.
