This info could easily be googled I about 10 seconds. No reason to start a thread that will no doubt bring out some auburn fans who feel the need to answer emphatically while acting like they are a classy bunch who loved Kenny.

You can be sure the passing of a Bama legend will bring out the best in the Auburn and LSU fan base.

IIRC, he got a DUI (his fifth or sixth) right after the horrific accident which resulted in Siran Stacy's wife and a couple of his children passing away.
So I'm down voting you for being a terrible person.

Didnt Stabler also do some color commentarty for the Saints after his paying days were over in New Orleans? Seem to remeber hearing him and he was good at it.

Unless you're using an alter, you've never seen a good rant. 2012 was WAY past it's glory days. Nov 2010 it all went to shite

I am a die hard Auburn fan and grew up around Kenny. When I got older I dated his daughters best friend and spent a good amount of time with him. I stayed with them in Montgomery for the 2005 Iron bowl. When we got there the girls went to the room to get ready and he told me and the guy with his daughter to come with him, I asked where we were going and he told me he had to go over to get some tickets and talk to the coaches. I asked him if I should take off my Auburn hat and he just laughed and said hell no your with me it doesn't matter. The caoches have me some shite but it was all in good fun. I also went to multiple concerts with him and other events and parties. I remember one night his daughter had a party up in Tuscaloosa when I lived up there, his daughter texted me and asked if I was coming and I told her I probably would and she said her dad had told her to tell me to come over a shoot the shite with him. When I got there he was surrounded by like 15 frat boys in suit and ties, once he saw me walk in he yelled my name and headed straight for me. I got some death states from the frat guys when he did that and then walked around with me the rest of the night. He said thank god you are here those boys over there are nice and all but they see me as the snake and want to talk about football non stop and try to impress me and you have always treated me as Kenny your friends dad and treat me like a normal person. That night he also asked me what I was drinking and I told him bourbon and he said damn that sounds good so I said you know whatever I have you are more than welcome to, he then told me that it was tempting but he promised himself and his girls that he wouldn't drink the hard stuff anymore just wine. He had his problems just like everybody else does but he was a great guy I have always had nothing but respect for him and the way he always treated me. And I know his girls ment the would to him.

Great insight.

He was great, from what I've heard.
I personally think this is probably the cheapest post I have ever read.
There are literally thousands of us who really liked watching him quarterback the Raiders. I loved to hear him talk, and I loved watching him quarterback the Tide.
To start a thread like this after the man is dead is beyond despicable.

I liked Kenny, he had his issues like many of us, but he was a good person that loved people... Great analyst that told it like it was, never sugar coated anything with the tide, that's why Eli didn't have many kind words for him. We talked on numerous occasions down on Ono and at the Keg... He will be missed...
