Because Ole Miss is only considered a big game for LSU and MSU.

You say that but just wait until Jeff spills a whole tray of cokes all over you.

Well. There you go. No wonder I don't remember that. I can't remember stuff from 12 minutes ago, much less 12 years.

What a shame. He started out with such promise and just never developed.

No troll......just an honest question. Do you believe he did not develop because of a lack of effort or ability on his part, or because of coaching?

Driskel worked his arse off to come back from the broken leg. I think honestly he has the raw talent, but there's just something about when he gets on the field.. his brain freezes up and he goes full retard. He may be the best practice quarterback ever (when I went to the open practices this year, it was like a brand new guy, I mean lasers all over the field, beatufiul passes, and he looked like a million bucks), but when the lights come on and it is show time, he continually shits his pants.

I honestly think that him being thrown into the fire as a true freshman against one of the best defenses in college football history and getting hammered for three entire quarters just screwed him up. He was not ready, and he still has the same deer in the headlights look that he had then, now.

Why did CBS pick the Georgia Florida game?

1. As stated above, it is done in advance.

2. UGA and UF are usually in the SEC East race for first. Often, this game decides it or has a big effect on it.

3. It's on a neutral field. Very unusual for a in-season game that gives it a bowl-like feel and gives the broadcasters much to talk about.

4. It's one of the top rivalries in the SEC.

Actually, this game has nothing to do with current teams. This game has been a mainstay for CBS and before that ABC for many, many years. Going back at least to the 70's. The 1976 4th and dumb game, Run Lindsey run, UGA driving 99 yards on Florida's D in the closing minutes in 1983, 'Dawgs timed out' game of 1993. Even the days when both weren't so good it was on and this was back in the 70's. To answer the question, Tradition. It's on because it's always been on.

The CBS contract gives them first choice of SEC game in all except two weeks per season. It was not chosen months ago. I believe this was one of the weeks that ESPN got first choice. Cbs had second choice, then back to ESPN/sec network for third and forth choices.

They picked it a while back way before they ever realized how bad both teams are
