Because AU doesn't put them in the NFL and Gus is dumb. Also, we got grand pappy coaching that position and he couldn't out recruit me.

Iy y'all don't pull Jones with that kind of need, Gus needs to find a new OL coach. We went through that same thing with Richt and his terrible OL coaches

This is true. Grimes is a good position coach.........he is just a worthless recruiter.

Auburn is where OL go when they have no shot at the NFL. Same with LB

I will say this. Mark Richt never fielded an OL as bad as the one Gus has the last two years. Majority wouldn’t start for Vandy

I am not an Auburn fan, but my guess is they are losing a lot of OLinemen this year and wanted to get some seasoned players that are ready to play immediately.

High School players are not typically ready to step in and start right off the bat. there are some exceptions, but as a whole most need a year or so in a college level S&C program to put on some good weight and learn proper technique.

Trying to keep up with Bama...bandaid fixes because they can't recruit seniors out of high school and develop them.

Because it only gives Grimes two years to frick up their performance. Freshman and Sophomores are very impressionable.

True, but those same players have beaten Bama’s 5 stars 2 out of the last 3 years. How the frick do you explain that? CF is a wacky sport.
