Starkville is easily the worst away game destination in the SEC. You knew this before you started the thread Bunty. A&M brought thousands of fans when they came to Oxford. Blame the destination not the fan base Alfred.

We have commercial jet service to ATL about 10-15 minutes from campus. Oxford doesn't have that

I know State loves to brag about how big their one inch penis is but Oxford has commercial service to Atlanta only 2 minutes from campus. LoL@ThinkingState/StarkvilleDoesSomethingBetterThanOleMiss/Oxford

When's the last time you've been to a game in Starkville?

I saw y'all beat the first SEC west team not named Ole Miss in the Dan Muffin era during the "We Believe" season.

The junction is sleepy, the cowbells are obnoxious and reinforce the dumb hick stereotype, The weakest bar in Oxford is rowdier than the Bin, guys out number the girls, Girls are either ugly or classless tom boy redneck hunter girls. After the game we went to a party that reminded me of highschool. The conversations over the weekend involved farming, hunting, and why ole miss sucks. It's pretty much a joke of a gameday experience when compared to Oxford/ Ole Miss/ The Grove/ The Square.

If true I am going to be pissed. I am a pretty good donor and got shite tickets from a&M at the top of the stadium. That only happens on high demand road games so I am calling BS.

If you got upper deck then the lower level sold out. All SEC teams are required to give X # of lower level seats to visitors.

I would expect most Ags traveling just bought straight from State. It still isn't sold out. Or wasn't as of a few hours ago. About 2 weeks ago I was able to buy seats on the 30 in the lower level. Not sure why State can't sell out their little stadium, but don't be surprised if A&M outnumbers state by the 4th quarter.

Maybe you should look at the census numbers for Starkville & Mississippi compared to Bryan/CS & Texas?

Southern Airways Express is an air taxi service, and they only operate out of Oxford on a weekly schedule. Mostly during football season. They fly Cessna Caravans. But that's a cool little company, I'm not knocking it. It fits Oxford.

GTR, on the other hand, is probably about to get a second airline with flights to either Dallas or Houston.
