none of the full in spread offensives have fielded a strong defense. Not even Malzahn with Muschamp.

I know it's basically ancient history at this point, but our championship teams in 2006 and 2008 had incredible defenses.

The Bear spoke to Saban from the grave and said "Nick what's the deal? You always got a Coke and no Chips"

Well no. That would literally never happen Saban made a 330 pound professional defensive tackle cry. A grown man that played football for a living and was 3x Saban's size, crying like a little bitch. I bet he could make Orgeron cry too

Yes, everyone is afraid of all 4foot 2 inches of Saban. Never mind the fact that 99.9% of people involved in college football could punt his arse across the field.

Why not Chip at Bama?

FIFY

Easy answer. Nick Saban is a giant douchebag. Chip Kelly has already had success in college and isn't some coach looking to bolster his reputation after a huge screw-up, i.e. kiffin and Sark. Chip will land on his feet somewhere where he is the head coach and doesn't have some twat screaming at him in front of the players.

Yes he did his offense this year was abysmal to watch. 3 top five QB in campus and none of them could beat out a true freshman QB that couldn't throw the ball. He sucked at developing QBs. He was only a good play caller that could mask QB deficiencies.
