I don't really know what this is supposed to mean, but I am no sidewalk fan if that's what you're implying. I graduated with a degree from UA.

Living vicariously through the accomplishments of 18-22 year old kids makes you the bigger loser in my book. You as a fan contribute squat.

For me it's not "all" about winning as much as it is about building and keeping the Bama winning championships tradition going. Unfortunately you have to win to do this

My favorite part of the "game experience" is the Walk Of Champions and pre game tailgating. "But" when you hear AC/DC Thunderstruck.....Well Bama's opponent is about to take an azz whipping back home.

It's more of you expect to win every game and losing is not an option. If Bama does lose I expect it to be a hard fought game and everything left on the field and it doesn't bother me as much.

If Ole Miss was at the same level as Bama and had the "winning championships tradition" then you would look at your program "MUCH" different. You can't say how you'd be unless you have "been" there before, "And Ole Miss hasn't."

And the difference between you and me is that I live vicariously through 18-22 year olds who win on a consistent basis while you do the exact opposite. I may be a loser but at least I don't have self-esteem issues, which is what most Mississippi State and Ole Miss fans must have because I can't explain why they'd be fans of those respective teams otherwise.

Saban is trolling Bama nation.

Also, learn to use the quote function.

Where did I claim Bama fans have no life? Besides, there are message boards all over the place covering a variety of topics. Do you think I bring my serious to the SEC Rant?

Nick Saban doesn't believe this^^^.

The fans show their spirit by showing up in crazy numbers to the games, parades....etc

The players feed off of the fans excitement and dedication and also reap from the fans high expectations. That's why Bama wins Championships.

Recruits come to UA because of Bama traditions and the fans are a big part of that..

LSU fans self-worth doesn't seem to be as directly tied to LSU football as the self-worth of Bama fans appears to be to Bama football. Of course there are exceptions, but I've long said Bama football is all a high percentage of that fanbase seems to have.

I didn't go to school at MSU for the football team, that much should be obvious. I went there to get an Enginneering degree and try to have a decent life. I go to games to tailgate and visit with family and friends but don't fixate on how bad we are, or when we enjoy a bit of success, try to keep it in perspective. I'm determined to enjoy all aspects of life regardless of how well, or how poorly my team does. You on the other hand appear to be one of those who wear body paint over a 300 pound torso.

Bama and Nick Saban just want your money. The sooner you realize this, the better. They don't give a damn whether you're actually in your seat at the stadium as long as the check has cashed.

I went to Alabama strictly for the football team. Not ashamed to admit it either.

And I am a sailor in the U.S. Navy. I do have a decent life.

Not so much. I haven't been to a game this year and would be kicked out of the Navy if I were 300 pounds. But thanks for stereotyping!
