Our program will be set back for decades? Thanks for the insight Nostradamus. Some of you on here are over reactionary and delusional.

It's really kind of silly. A good coach can turn things around in 2 or 3 years. Maybe not title winning turnaround that quickly, but on the way to it.

Solid bull shite and very typical tRant. Then our fellow "boarder state" Kentucky should not be in the SEC also. You do not know crap about Missourah or it's history.

I know enough about Missouri's history to know that Missouri is not a southern state no matter how much you try and spin it into one.

I know that during the war Missouri fought with its frickin self over which side to be on, but ended up sending more than double the number of men to fight with the North than the South.

I also know that the Missouri forces were notoriously disorganized and just not very good at war stuff. They were unable to hold Jefferson City from the union (and their own men), and the Capitol was moved to Neosho at which time a bunch of Arkansas Baws endeavored to give the state back to Missourians by driving out the Northern oppressors who were basically pillaging the entire shitty state of Missouri.

And I also know that they would have stood a much better chance of success if it weren't for that cluster frick of "soldiers" Louisiana tried to send to fight.

Times haven't really changed all that much for Missouri. To this day there is a segment of the population up there who gives the entire place a bad name. Same shite, different day.

Mizzou is in trouble. Even if we make a great HC hire once Odom is canned, it will still take several years to recover. The collective events of the past few years have really taken the enthusiasm out of the football program. At least SEC revenue and large donations are still coming in, we will probably have to throw money at the problem until it starts to repair.

Y'all can come back around if you can find a new talent pool to drain. Gary's ties to the Texas pool seem to be lost.
