It's such a fluid situation there is no real direct way in. If Arkansas beats Missou, UGA is going to be a fricking handful in Atlanta. Bama winning and us finishing 11-1 could realistically be a better option than Bama losing.

1) We are the SECw.
2) Uga fans know that for them to get a ring of any sort, they better learn how to hold one until the swelling goes down.

Don't think any Bama fans are "skeert". Or the players ... or the faculty ... or anyone associated with the University for that matter.
Mizzou is a good team. If you had to play either Mizzou or Georgia to advance, you would be a fool to not take Mizzou. Still, I think we'd beat Georgia by 10+.
Anyhoo... if we win out til the end of the year, we deserve the National Championship. If we don't, then we don't deserve it and someone else does. Simple as that.
If anything, based on these recent threads, Mizzou fans are extremely nervous -- not sure why. You guys are playing Arkansas at home. You *should* win this handily.

Our SOS and quality wins will be better than OSU resume. Plus their loss is a 2 TD loss at home to VT who has a losing record while ours is a 5 point loss to Bama

MSU's OOC schedule will hurt them. There best win is Over a team with 4 loses. MSU is overrated.

This is a perfectly rational response.
I don't mind people pulling for an outcome that would benefit their team. That's called being a fan.
I don't mind UGa fan rooting for Arkansas to win. That's what fans do. Now them rooting for Bama to "put us in our place" would be dickriding. But that's not what is happening yet.

I'm really hoping the committee has the intelligence to realize the entirety of the SEC West is bowl eligible. We will have played 8 bowl eligible teams at the end of the season, 6 of them from our own division.
They have 5 losses and won't be ranked, but Arkansas is a top 20 caliber team. When healthy, a lot of the teams we have played were.

He had time to go for the win (much quicker TD plus an onside kick). Instead, they methodically went for a more guaranteed TD.
It made the score within a TD and a better argument for staying in the top 4. Smart, but I want my coach to go for the win.
