A&M would win this game, so I doubt they are scared. Could someone in the SEC office be against it for some odd reason? Who knows.
Bottom line, Chip has no credibility. Zero. No reason to take his claim seriously.....
I'm perfectly fine with never playing A&M again in football, but I sure hope we meet in March Madness.

You seen us play lately?
We would be able to name our price and split it for this game to be a kickoff neutral site game at Reliant or Jerryworld. Dumb to waste the first game back for a low level bowl game

ho lee sh't. I find myself agreeing with everything you've said here. Though I would like to play y'all again during rivalry week.

Why is Alabama scared of giving up their fix cross division rival?

I was at the TAMU/MU game this week. Went to a pre game party and was asked several times if I was over Kansas. I told them I was over Kansas the minute after Mike Slive introduced us as the 14th member of the SEC. They all nodded and said we were finished with Texas also. They want to play each other but no one wants to look like a jilted lover who ran back to someone who crapped on them...
Wait, how'd we start talking about Cleveland steamers all of a sudden?
Oh yeah, A&M. n/m

A&M wanted to continue the series as a non-conference game. stronghorns said their ooc schedule was full for the forseeable future.
End of story. Anybody stirring this pot of shite is just looking for clicks.

I don't want to play them, and it bothers me not what names get thrown our way. If they want to play it should be a home and home. They know they have nothing to lose so they are all for it. Even a close win could reverse the narrative to some degree. Alabama and Auburn didn't play for 40 years, so we got at least 38 to get this figured out.

Scurred of another 27-25. Even in the mighty SEC, A&M is scared of their daddy

Neither A&M or Mizzou should play their old rivals for a couple of decades. Both schools ended toxic relationships. Let a generation go by and then test the waters.
The best advice I could give both universities is to forget the past and cultivate new rivalries within the SEC. They tend to be fun and productive for both sides.

Disagree, the Missouri kansas rivalry is much more than just sports, and there is no additional contention due to the conference switch between the schools. The situations are incredibly different.
I would like to continue our rivalry with kansas, like I said though they are so damn bad right now we need them to do better before it's worth while.
