Never bring up an intelligent fact to an Aubie. Might make their head explode.

That’s what everybody said before the iron bowl and what do you know we played that well again and beat Bama.

Both teams also shared the common factor of playing exceedingly poorly. You cannot tell me Bama and Georgia brought their A game.

Is having back to back muffed snaps in the closing minutes a result of how vastly superior Auburn’s coaching and talent is? Were the 3 penalties that lead directly to 17 points a result of Auburn outscheming Georgia?

You won the game, fair and square, at your house. Both times.

You clearly don’t get this sport if you don’t believe those aspects of both games weren’t factors.

Auburn's defense caused the majority of those errors. AU fans assisted in some with the atmosphere.

If a team can't be honest about what happened they will be hard pressed to find a cure.

If you just claim it was a c or d performance vs an A than no gameplan difference is needed right? Just clean up, ask for more effort, execution, and focus and all should be good. The real Uga should shine.

You and I both know there is much more game planning than that. Why, because AU was a massive force that altered the play of Uga. Uga has talent and momentum mixed with emotion can help a team for a time. Then execution, creativity, talent, desire, heart kick in.

Who will have more by the end? The trenches will be the biggest keys on both sides of the ball. Which team has the advantage? Can the other team overcome the advantage? The advantage points to AU. Venue, Injuries, and other factors will be different. Can Uga capitalize on the things that can propel them to victory?

Should be a much closer game and physical. Auburn 26-17

That opening drive I thought we were bringing our A game into an insanely hostile environment. The defense was doing it's part by bending, but not breaking at first.

It seemed to me that as soon as we had that touchdown and held y'all to 2 field goals that the team got cocky, thinking "we've done this all season, the rout is on"
Y'all for sure kicked our asses at the LOS though. From that point on UGA just was performing the world's biggest fall from grace as every facet of our game fell to D level or lower. While Auburn raised it up to A+ level.

I think the offensive line just needs to play out of their skin, while also having Cheney try to get creative for once and scheme around our flaws. A lot easier said than done.

If KJ does end up being less than 100%, or not playing, then it's up to front 7 to try to stonewall the rushing attack. Although Stidham has really been a stud lately so pressure on him will be key to any shot at a UGA win.

I'm weirdly optimistic about this game, but who knows after what happened last time

UGA marched down the field on the first series with relative ease. Allbarn's secondary is a weak point.

Georgia did the same exact thing against Miss St. on the first series except Allbarn didn't fold at home. Jumbo Jim has a tendency to go super conservative this season. He simply has to call a balanced game.

Now a healthy Kerryon is hard to contain for this Georgia defense... Home field in NCCAF is one of the most advantageous things in sports... MBS will be pro UGA come Saturday.

Bitch UGA lost to Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and GA Tech last year. You're lucky to even still be playing football.

Uga Thanks God for the SEC East.

In reality.........you hit a 50/50 ball on third and long.
More reality.....50/50 balls were pretty much your entire O that game.

That doesn't mean it will be like that this game. That is just how it was a few weeks ago.

Getting smoked by Troy is the most embarrassing thing to happen to the SEC in years. Let that sink in

They have fabricated this narrative that Smart does not lose "revenge games." Whatever the hell that is supposed to mean seems to convince themselves that Jeff Holland will not buttrape them again.

Yeah, but Gus has beaten us twice now as Auburn’s head coach. Ask Ole Miss how that worked out for them.

REC going to work, bitches.

I’m going to go ahead and throw a sarcasm tag here, because otherwise someone’s going to take me seriously. Auburn boutta go ham in the SECCG. All I can hope for now is a mulligan game in the playoffs.

I do think we made a lot of unforced errors in the previous game, that if cleaned up would change the composure of that loss.

Because God is a righteous God and will never let Auburn win anything that doesn't have a huge stain on it. Like when AU hired $cam Newton to play one season. Everyone in the country outside of the Fambly knows that trophy means absolutely nothing. I'm surprised the presenters didn't throw up on it.

This is a fan of a team from a University that has Don Leebern as a regent.

My god, the irony.

I know that Auburn fans don't watch UGA football all season, but that game was the perfect storm. Yes, Auburn dominated both LOS, and we were as flat as I've seen in awhile. I attribute some of that to JHS. I attribute some to AU HAVING to win the game to survive and UGA not (we already had a division championship wrapped up). I attribute some of it to Auburn having to prove that the LSU game wasn't who they were.

I played sports all of my life and coached in my adult life. And I've seen some weird stuff happen over the years as a player, coach, and fan. It would not surprise me if UGA won by the same spread that AU did the last game. But I have this feeling, and I think you Aubies do too, that this game is going to be one for the books. This UGA team is MUCH better than the team that showed up at JHS. MUCH better.

I have actually seen uga play 4 full games this season and parts of others.

If you don't see the problems Auburn presents in match ups against uga's weaknesses then you don't know football as much as you think you do. There are schematic ways to work around those match up issues. I will be curios to see if ya'll figure it out and how Auburn counters it.

I absolutely agree it will be a battle. uga is better than they played in the last game, but uga isn't the type of team who can afford mistakes when playing another talented team.

Says the guy who obviously didn't grow up in Columbus GA.

Ol' Don and Bill Heard had a nice "summer job training" program for UGA players where they could earn a nice new Chevrolet (et. al.) to drive back to Athens back when I was a young lad.
