Because God is a righteous God and will never let Auburn win anything that doesn't have a huge stain on it. Like when AU hired $cam Newton to play one season. Everyone in the country outside of the Fambly knows that trophy means absolutely nothing. I'm surprised the presenters didn't throw up on it.

I know that Auburn fans don't watch UGA football all season, but that game was the perfect storm. Yes, Auburn dominated both LOS, and we were as flat as I've seen in awhile. I attribute some of that to JHS. I attribute some to AU HAVING to win the game to survive and UGA not (we already had a division championship wrapped up). I attribute some of it to Auburn having to prove that the LSU game wasn't who they were.
I played sports all of my life and coached in my adult life. And I've seen some weird stuff happen over the years as a player, coach, and fan. It would not surprise me if UGA won by the same spread that AU did the last game. But I have this feeling, and I think you Aubies do too, that this game is going to be one for the books. This UGA team is MUCH better than the team that showed up at JHS. MUCH better.

Auburn will win. It should be a better game. It's certainly not a forgone conclusion.

I'm not all confident and have made that clear several times. We got owned in the trenches in the previous encounter and will we will likely get owned again. All I have to say is our coaches better have very creative offensive gameplan that keeps our defense off the field as much as possible and our defense better play a lot better than they did last time.
