stfu telefawx... If you would just look at their PREVIOUS schedules (I'm told there is a really good 4 year stretch in there somewhere), you will see a lot more winnable games. Looking at current trends means staring at tDecline with little hope to avoid it.

I'm counting 9 wins, saying 8 wins is the ceiling is moronic. Anything less than that and you may see someone get fired. Also, I'm in no way saying 9 wins is the ceiling.

To be fair, it's not that hard to improve upon a defense that finished outside the top 75 in every meaningful defensive statistic.

right now it doesn't look like we have a QB I understand, but how about we wait till after the season and reassess? Also, in all fairness we didn't have a QB in 2011 and we did pretty well that year.

For one season at most. After that, as long as Chavis is at A&M and Steele at LSU, y'all won't have a higher ranked defense than us. To think otherwise is silly.

We didn't have a QB last year and we still beat Aggy. In fact, out shitty QB had his career game against them.

Mabye. If Aggy don't do something to upgrade that shite secondary y'all will want to run Chavis out of CS by year 3. His scheme requires more than above average DB play.

You may be right. We all know LSU didn't field a good defense until Chavis was brought in.

Aggie fans IRL are really some of the best people and hosts that I have met in my journey across the SEC and that I know IRL. Their traditions and passion rival LSU. A game experience there is pretty cool.
Having said that, on this site, aggie fans seem unrealistic. IDK how many of them actually believe they have been better in the SEC than LSU since arriving (bc clearly they haven't been), but the point really doesn't matter.
Championships are really the end-all-be-all. I am not saying I don't enjoy seasons where we don't win them and that I don't enjoy individual games. Right now, LSU and aTm are both looking up at Bama/Auburn...the last 3 winners of the SEC. That's what I care about. I don't want to just beat aTm (however fun it is to make them melt)...I care about LSU winning the SEC West again.

Ps...if and when the aggies do win the SEC, I think I will boycott SEC rant till the offseason is over
