Matt knows what is going to happen. Coach Dan Mullen will have to admit he and Leo talked about the NCAA statement. Everyone who helped Leo with the Statement will be called for a deposition.

Please tell me you really believe this....

Whether he was given money by other schools is totally irrelevant to the lawsuit and therefore he will not have to answer questions like that.

This is an American court of law, not the Hotty Toddy bull shite hour.

First off, I don't think you understand how depositions in a civil case work. They can go much further afield than what you are talking about.

Hey Gnash, how do you think the University feels about this lawsuit?

I think that is a good question. Personally I would think they would not like it, as it is a Pandora's box. Remember, both sides get to call witnesses and depose people. It also is just further escalation of the shite show in public.

But if you look at it from RRags perspective they don't have much to lose by doing it and honestly neither do Freeze and Bjork.

I think we should all be scared of the awful atmosphere this stuff has created around Mississippi sports. It is awful.

I was wondering from a fans perspective. It seems strange that so many Rebel fans are lining up their support for an entity that their University opposes ( I guess?).

It's a very complicated situation, I understand. So many layers to peel on this onion

Agree 100%

I asked this before and got no answer.

What reason did LLewis have for saying he got free stuff and was paid cash from Ole Miss. Ole Miss fans are adamant that he lied, why would he?

I understand the vitriol toward opposing players. I should say I see it a lot, don't really understand it.

My question is about fan support of this lawsuit. If The Lodge in Starkville was implicated in an NCAA case that was looming over MSUs head, I would have a hard time supporting those guys, even if there were rumors of shadiness in the case. The whole situation is shady as hell, on all sides

The NCAA isn't buying what Ole Miss is selling. Civil case or not, the NCAA is not going to let OM weasel out of this with an attempt at implicating another school. It just won't happen. Will there be reprecussions to a few individuals in Maroon? Sure. But they will pale in comparison to what OM receives. These are two seperate entities. These fans attempting to merge the two is hopeful at best. Quite outlandish to be frank.
