Why are people picking Auburn in over Missouri in the NCAA Regionals?

I know we are grasping at straws here but just don't understand the general consensus when Missouri has a better conference record?

Auburn didn't get swept by Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Whoa! I didn't realize Auburn's RPI was ranked that high, this kind of makes sense now.

Not sure it was just mid week games. Auburn played the two best teams in the east in Fliorida and Vandy along with every west team. I am not sure the west teams Missouri played.

Auburn also has at least one victory over Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State and a victory over Alabama in Montgomery that was counted as a non conference game

Mizzou played LSU and A&M I think. IIRC, they played the top 4 teams in the conference.

The went 1-2, 2-1, 0-3, and 0-3 vs the top 4.

Mizozu was 1 game above .500. Auburn is 12. Its not close between the 2.

Mizzou would have had to have won one more game against Kentucky and one more game in the tourney to be in.

Also Mizzou's SOS is #3. Tough.
